UDG (uracil DNA glycosylase) can catalyze the hydrolysis of the N-glycosidic bond between the uracil base and the sugar-phosphate backbone in ssDNA and dsDNA . It can easily control aerosol pollution and is suitable for common molecular biology systems such as PCR, qPCR, RT-qPCR and LAMP.
Features
Eliminate false positive results due to contamination of PCR amplification products;
The reaction temperature can be freely adjusted between 37 ºC and 50 ºC;
Active over a wide pH range, with an optimal pH of 8.0;
High purity, no endonuclease, exonuclease, or RNase residues.
Applications
Removing aerosol contamination of PCR products containing dU;
Removing single or double stranded DNA uracil bases.
