Compared with ordinary UDG enzymes, thermosensitive UDG enzymes avoid the degradation of dU containing amplification products by residual activity that may exist after conventional UDG enzyme inactivation at room temperature. This product works at room temperature and is temperature sensitive and easy to inactivate.
Features
Eliminate false positive results due to contamination of PCR amplification products;
High temperature sensitivity, completely inactivated at 50 ºC;
Active over a wide pH range, with an optimal pH of 8.0;
High purity, no endonuclease, exonuclease, or RNase residues.
Applications
Removing aerosol contamination of PCR products containing dU;
Removing single or double stranded DNA uracil bases.
