Product Description

Product Description

dsDNase (Heat-Labile)

dsDNase is an DNase designed for rapid and safe removal of contaminating genomic DNA from RNA samples. It is an endonuclease that cleaves phosphodiester bonds in DNA to yield oligonucleotides with 5'-phosphate and 3'-hydroxyl termini. Highly specific activity towards double-stranded DNA ensures that RNA and single-stranded DNA such as cDNA and primers are not cleaved. dsDNase is easily inactivated by moderate heat treatment (55°C). These features make dsDNase an excellent choice for gDNA elimination prior reverse transcription. It allows for dramatically simplified workflow which combines genomic DNA elimination and cDNA synthesis into one-tube procedure.

Dsdnase (Heat-Labile) Enzyme

Dsdnase (Heat-Labile) Enzyme

Features:

1. The dsDNA enzyme activity can be rapidly and irreversibly inactivated after reacting at 55 °C for 5 minutes, ensuring that the
enzyme will not interfere with downstream applications or subsequent Enzyme catalysis;
2. Remove genomic DNA contamination from RNA samples;
3. Remove template DNA after in vitro transcription of RNA.

Applications:

1. dsDNA digestion (plasmid DNA, genomic DNA, etc.);
2. RNA and protein samples rapid purification;
3. PCR, qPCR Master Mixes or other diagnostic reagents decontamination;
4. Degradation of DNA template in transcription reactions.
