AapCas12b

Also known as C2cl, purified from E.coli strain containing the Alicyclobacillus acidophilus Cas12b expression gene. It belongs to
the V-type CRISPR Cas system. In the presence of PAM in the target DNA, it is a RNA mediated Nuclease that specifically targets to cut
double stranded DNA. The binding of LbCas12b crRNA complex with complementary single stranded DNA or double stranded DNA
releases strong non-specific ssDNA transcleavage activity. Compared to Casl3a, Cas12b can maintain higher activity under loop
mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) reaction conditions.

LbCas12a was purified from E.coli strain containing the Lachnospiraceae bacterium CRISPR-Cas12a expression gene. LbCas12a belongs to V-type CRISPR Cas system. In the presence of PAM in the target DNA, it is a RNA mediated Nuclease that specifically targets to cut double stranded DNA. Compared to Cas9, Cas12a only requires a single crRNA and has a smaller volume, making it easier to deliver into cells; At the same time, the combination of LbCas12a crRNA complex with complementary single stranded DNA or double stranded DNA releases strong non-specific ssDNA trans cleavage activity, which can be used for Genetic testing and imaging.
